I have a 93 cobra 4 lug disc rear that i am swapping in to my 90 lx. Right now i have 3.73's and an auburn posi in the rear in the car now. The cobra rear has 3.55's with a stock ford posi. This rear has low miles on it though. Im not sure exactly how many miles are on the posi unit in my rear. My question is should i swap the posi units, putting the auburn posi in my car? Is the stock unit any good? Is there anything else i should know or replace at the same time that i do this rear swap? I have all the brake lines that came off the other car?

i would keep the tracloc unit and sell you old rear..i am not a big fan of the auburns..later down the road you can rebuild the trac loc for $65..

also are you using the cobra/TC rear your rear tires will move out 3/4" on each siode..the 93 cobra wheels are offset diffrent that the stock wheels..also the 93 front cobra hubs are pushed out also
