Ihave a 79 cupe I obtained cheap with a 4cyl. I wnat to sport it up a bit inexpensively. Planned using a 88 lower intake manifold w/ holley 600 or 500cfm projection. Also I developed a cam that makes 50hp @ 2000 and maxes at about 177 @ 6000. The specs are 210 duration, .415 lift and 104 degree lobe center with 4 degree advanced timing. This is theoretical brake horsepower results off my dyno simulator. I'm keeping the stock header and increasing to 2" exhaust pipe. I obtained a capri gt hood with scoop and plan on making it fully functional to improve air flow. I'm looking for inexpensive suggestions and opinions about the proposed setup.
