 Okay, here's the specs on the 4 banger.  I got an 89 convertible that EFI.  I'm putting in a 302 from an 85 that I'm putting a carb on.  One thing that I have a question about is the whole ignition thing.  I know I need a new starter.  Is that all I need?  Also, will I need a new alternator?  I have a new T-5, springs, struts, mounts, bellhousing, shifter, hoses, radiator and the whole nine yard to make the engine work.  I even got a tower brace and subframe connectors.  It's getting the car started that killing me.  I got a fuel pressure regulator to cut the psi to 7 so the Holley 650 double pumper can handle it, but the ignition is what's holding me back.  Any ideas?  |
