Default Tach instalation on 90 Ranger

My Dad has a 90 Ranger 2.3. I am in the process of instaling mini Autometer tach. I am having trouble locating were I need to hook up the green tach wire. You are supposed to hook it up to the coil but it has coil packs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
