Tempo exhaust?

Does anyone out there know of somewhere that I can find a custom exhaust for a '92 3.0L V-6 Ford Tempo? I know this is really odd, but if anyone has heard of it, please let me know. Thanks.

I'm afraid you're going to be on your own with this one. My wife has a '93 V6 Tempo and it's too bad there aren't any speed goodies for it. The car has potential. Hers is going on 80,000 miles and aside from a bad joint seal has had zero exhaust system problems. When it does go bad, I will probably get rid of the cat and install a 2 1/4 inch pipe with a Super Turbo muffler.

Just because I have never heard of one doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

What are you looking for? If replacement is the objective, that should not be a problem. If a sportier exhuast note & less restriction is the objective, then you could get a muffler shop to bend you a custom setup.

Check with the local muffler shop & tell them what you are looking for & see what they recommend.

I would recommend a Borla muffler(s)- I believe that JC Whitneys sells universal fit Borlas for about $99, w/ custom bent or adopt the pre-bent replacement pipe.
