Post Lets try to wake things up in here!!!!!!!

OK...this site is really draggin @ss the last couple of days........so lets ask a question that I'm sure has been asked a MILLION times already.....

What was your favorite modification...no matter how petty, extreme, or expensive...what made you fall in love with your car all over again??????

This way we could all join in here and wake up!!!!! I'm at work, and nothing sucks more than to check the site at 30 minute intervals to keep my sanity and seeing NO NEW POSTINGS!!!!

OK...I'll start...The night I switched from Flowturds to MAC on my 92....oh baby did I have a smile from ear to ear!!!!!!

Going from 3.08 to 3.55 rear gears did it for me, as gears usually do.

I had my near-stock 'Stang for 8 years and was getting bored with the performance but couldn't afford any serious mods. Then I got a deal on the gears and once they were in, it was like I added 50 HP! Made the car fun to drive again, and I added a PRO 5.0 shifter at the same time, so it was even better.
I'm still near stock under the hood, but the street gears, shifter, sub-frame connectors and sticky tires make my aging 5.0 fun to drive, every day.

Now, get back to work!

Most people say that shoving bigger gears up their rear is fun, either that or getting blown. Hmmmm.....I may be ruining this site's family oriented nature! All I have on my car are suspension and 130amp alt. When I put the springs in, it rode SOOOO much nicer, and handled better, 'twas great! I also remember the new alt, it was great to be able to turn everything on and not drain the battery.

I would have to say either my heads or my roll cage.

I am about to get new mufflers and I saw you picked the Mac’s. What did you like about them over the flowmasters and what flowmasters did you have?

I just switched over from stock single exhaust to 2 1/2" dual exhaust - 1 5/8" primary headers, 2 1/2 offroad h-pipe and Warlock mufflers. I just got done driving it about 100 miles and i had a smile from ear to ear. It's surprisingly quiet with a snarly tone...i can hear my radio easily on the freeway and the headers make more noise than the exhaust at cruise (tinnish noise). I can now go sideways in the middle of first gear and the powerband just grew as well as lowend torque (i thought i'd lose some, but i actually gained alot). This is my first major change, next is gears....man I LOVE MUSTANGS....I need to go driving again....

I'd have to say it was after I put the new cam in and got it dyno tuned. Or last week when I rebuilt the posi and now I can REALLY get it sideways. Or maybe before all this when I put the Cobra intake and 24# injectors on. But I'm SURE that after I finish remodeling the two bathrooms and I get to buy the new Paxton 1000 that will be it.

I'll have to say converting to Mass Air. I haven't had a single ping since, and it feels a lot faster up top. Just sucks having to wait for Milan Dragway to open...only 8 more days!!!!

The MAC's just added the perfect balls-to-the-wall kind of sound to my car

After doing the heads and the rest of the naturally aspirated bolt-ons in my sig, the car needed something more...

I had two-chambers on it, the ones that are on my coupe now...but the noise the 92 makes now, especially with the blower at 6 grand on the highway bouncing off the barrier or other cars (the sound, not the car!!! )...it almost brings tears to your eyes it is so beautiful...I'm just pissed I didn't get the MAC's sooner...

I can't quite describe how it sounds. I want to say late sixties muscle kind of tinny sound mixed with a nascar, but that doesn't even do it justice...the fit was beautiful and the system is cheaper than the flowturds

I'm with ya Green92LX on the MAC stuff. It has been my favorite mod as well. II love the sound and the power I gained from the system was for the most part, unbelievable. It'll climb to 6 grand easy now and wants more. And the sounds will put a shiver down your spine

Actually and not trying to be a complete dork, but my K&N filter system, it was the first mod, I have ever done and it was a great feeling putting that sucker in, and well I liked it so much no one else has touched my car, except for things I could not control, or have the proper tools for.

And I loved the sound of my complete exhaust system with my off road h-pipe, everything went on at the same time, so it was a huge difference from stock.
