timming problem!?!?!
 

i have an 88 gt with a egr spacer and some more mods but my timming is set but reving really high and blowing out bluey white smoke only one tail pipe the other pipe just a bit?? now the head gaskets are not gone we checked for that. whane u put your finger over the egr hole in the throtle body the timming comes right done

I think I would start by rechecking all your vacum lines. Your problem sounds very similar to a problem I had a few years back. Turned out it was a vacum line that had been burned or worn through.
