Post Transmission swap

Everyone who has done an AOD to T5 swap says that it's easy, and the hardes part is really just swapping the pedals. I was wondering, how easy is it? So far on my car (90LX AOD convert.) replaced the upper and lower control arms, springs and shocks all around. Thats all that I've done so far, ya think I can do the swap?

Definately, all I had done when I did mine was taken the intake off to change injector O rings. I had no idea what I was doing and after reading a Haynes manual and looking under the car at what all had to come out, it was really not hard at all. You need either a lift or really tall jack stands and a good long weekend. I did the pedal one weekend and drove the AOD with an extra pedal and then did the tranny the next weekend. As long as you have everything you need and you can just start saturday morning you'll be done by sunday afternoon and probably be able to drive it that night. That's how long it took me anyway. a total of about 14 hours of work, with one person. Have fun.

COOL!

Ok, so what do I need? Here's a list of what I think I need, but surely it's missing something:

Tremec 3550 tranny
bellhousing for use w/ TR-3550 (nameless, does that matter?)
Centerforce Dual Friction 10.5in, 10 spline input
clutch pedals from 87-93
console plate from 87-93 (hopefully)
shifter, Hurst Billet/Plus
in my NextGen catalog, they list 'adjustable clutch quadrants' and 'adjustable clutch linkage kit', are they the same? I assume I need one/both

My car is a 90LX AOD convert., BTW.

Get the adj. clutch quadrant...the stock has plastic parts that are no good. the adj. cable/linkage is the same thing.
Try to find the jan '97 MM&FF.....
But other than what you said....you will need...5-speed computer, harness for t-5, and i think a new flywheel too.

Do I need the 5speed computer? I think that the only difference is the hookup so the tranny can complain when its angry, that would also mean I wouldn't need the T5 harness, right?

You can use your computer, it will work fine. Also you need a manual trans. flywheel. Also not sure but the drive shafts might be differant lengths??
