Question Underdrive Pulleys

I just want a vote on how many people reccomend underdrive pulleys to add hp for a 2.3L Stang in mint condition. Please head your reply: Yes or No

Thanx,
C-Dog

This isn't a yes or no question. There are many variables you have to think about.

Do you plan to have an aftermarket sound sys., aftermarket driving lights, any other electrical accessories? If yes, don't get them, or else you will have to rev the engine way up in order to keep the batt charged, or you could get a larger alt, but then you would have to change all kinds of things in the electrical sys. You could get the underdrive pullies without the alt. pulley then you wouldn't have a problem, but only gaining 10-15hp isn't really a good investment unless you plan on doing tons of other stuff, u ought to start off with free mods, like air silencer, removing sound deadning tar/fabric, and other things. If you can get the car as light as possible it will be fast, Less weight is like having more hp.

Brad.
