Default V6 - Dual Exhaust

I just purchased a full exhaust system off of Ebay for my 1999 Mustang V6. I'm doing a V6 to V8 conversion, and I thought this would be a nice place to start. It's a dual exhaust, cat back system taken off a Mach 1. The system's pipes are cut for shipping purposes.

I was wondering what type of modifications I'd have to make to the exhaust and/or my car in order to install this system. Would I need to order extra parts? Could I install this myself? If not, around how much would it run me to have this done? I'm without direction as it stands now, so any help is quite welcome. Thanks for you feedback in advance. -Ray

Since you are still running a six, I'm moving this post to small ponies....

you have to buy an h-pipe still. The hpipe off the mach is too wide for the v6. Plus they are set up to go through the bumper so either need to mod the the brackets/bumper or get a new bumper. unless you have a wielder to weld where they cut than I would get a shop. I would say about 100-200 for stall

So than I made a poor choice purchasing this?

Theres no way I can use the pipe already on my V6?

I'm quite confused.

Should I just resell the exhuast system?

Please elaborate.

Thanks, and please reply again!

All you have to do is buy an H-pipe and brackets. It is not a bad purchese. You can modify the pipes to go under your bumper like pre 99 GT/Cobra. Or you can buy a new rear bumper with the two holes already cut out. MAC sells h-pipes that run about ~$150. I have true duals on my V6 and it sounds decent.

Go there and then go to Josh's 1994. It is a sound clip of my 1994 V6. Gives you an idea what it sounds like.

I hope I answered some questions. If you have anymore please ask.
