I have a 2000 v6 mustang with 4.10's I plan on eventually puting off road true dual exhaust, but right now i want to invest in puting a supercharger on it. I know alot about 4.6 v8 superchargers but i dont know the first thing about v6 superchargers, does anybody have any suggestions on what kind of supercharger or how many pounds of boost to use or anything would be helpful.

The same rules apply to 4.6's as 3.8L's. If you go up to 9lbs on the street you will probably be fine, i'd personally opt for a roots style supercharger (eaton), so a kit from Kenne Bell (i believe they make kits for 3.8's but i'm not sure) would be ideal since they make boost instantly off idle, but still a vortech is always a good choice and probably the most popular for V6's. The 3.8's have always had head sealing issues, but i believe in the late 90's they reduce the size of the coolant passages around the cylinders for a more rigid block (what they did in the super coupe 3.8's) and so it's less likely you'll blow a head gasket.

Good sites for superchargers. Lots of info here. Jim Roal will answer an e-mail if you send him one with some good questions.
