warning lights, lowering

recently my air bag lights has come on in my dash. usually it starts blinking then it will stay on for while im driving, i havent gotten into any accidents or anything it just started happening and ideas of what it could be or if will be harmful or affect my car or anything?

Also my friend knows somebody who it starting a car club and he was to mod both of our cars for free i.e. exhaust and stuff. But he has this thing he bought for $25 that ties your springs down to lower you car. i wasnt to sure if that sounded all that great but i do want to lower it like an inch, has anyone heard something like this, bad idea or no?

That is a bad idea. It will effect your car ride very bad. Just pay the extra and get it lowered. Don't rice it up.

Any ideas on the air bag warning light?

Best bet I can say is un hook your battery for about 30 mins to an hour and hook it back up. If the light stays on then take it to a shop.
