Default whirring noise from from stang

fellow stang lovers, how goes it ?
I have a 96 automatic pony with 78k miles and I have this whirring heavy noise coming from under the car when ever I drive up a hill or turn very hard to the left or right. Took it to the dealer and local mechanic and they could not find anything. I'm afraid it turns into something bad before its too late. Again it happens when going up a hill or turning hard. It sounds like it's coming from the rear wheel area.
Any suggestions ???
thanks,
chan
