Corbeau seats group purchase
A guy over at www.eastcoaststangs.com is trying to get some people to do a group purchase of some Corbeau seats. The way it works is the more people we can get to buy seats the lower the prices.
Now, I can't quote you exact prices because we don't know how many people are "in" yet but if you want to get a good idea contact these people: Velocity speed n sport (609)424-0883 Yardville NJ You want to talk to Greg, and tell him Joe sent you, about the ECS group purchase. Depending on how low it gets I plan on buying a pair of the Targa RS seats. Please, if you are interested email me @ scaryguy69@hotmail.com or if you are a member of ECS respond to the thread entitled "Anyone interested in group purchase?" in the Lounge forum. ___ 86 GT 5-Spd w/T-Tops BBK chrome shorties, BBK x-pipe, Stage II Flowmasters "Run from me and you'll only die tired" http://pub57.ezboard.com/bmodernmustang

I'm in. The only problem is that I am overseas for another month or so. If this works the way I have seen the others, we should get a discount on any of the Corbeau seats he can get. If this goe through I might be able to get a buddy of mine to front me the money until I get back to the states. But I definately want a set. -Chris

Any new details? Or is there a lack of interest? I don't think two people are going to get too much of a group purchase price. We will see if it picks up any more interest. -Chris

If you want more people in on the GP, YOU HAVE TO POST PRICES FOR EACH KIND OF SEAT. If you don't I wouldn't expect too much response.

Guys,
Check out this link: http://www.modernperformancenw.com/corbeauseat.html The prices are already very good, and a GP would mean LOWER pricing! I have worked with this company before on a number of different GP's and they have all worked out great. Drop me an e-mail and I can get this rolling for everyone, right away. umlafre1@cc.umanitoba.ca

That is a good price stang lover. $299.00 is the cheapest I have seen those seats for. The only thing I am worried about is the shipping cost. Do you have any ideas on the cost of shipping? I am going to buy these seats soon, so hopefully we can get some participation on this group purchase. There is another place here in california that has them also, www.seatsource.com they have them for $320.00, but I wouldn't have to pay shipping. Let me know any new news. Later yall, -Chris

Just a little FYI for anyone who plans on getting these seats. If you have a Fox body you need to get the brackets for the seats, not the adapter. I got the adapter and the seats sit too high, my thighs hit the steering wheel and my head hits the sunroof of my 91LX (I'm 5'8"). I bought the Targa RS's on another GP and the shipping is crazy expensive because Corbeau uses FedEx exclusively. I wanted to order the brackets for the seats i had already received and it is the same price to ship as it is for the brackets $70 for 2 day delivery. The prices i paid on my Targa RS's were $260 each and like $37 each for ground shipping and I'm within a couple hundred miles of Corbeau. They're nice seats but i feel like I'm getting ripped off trying to get them to fit.

I just bought two from AutoToyStore.com for $287 each. My seat broke yesterday so I didn't really have time to wait for a group purchase. I'll let you guys know what I think of them when I get them installed.

I bought the Forza's locally a while back for my truck, I love them. And it's a give-in that you have to buy the $70 brackets. They are really nice seats, comfy too!
