Keith Craft

I know alot of people out there have delt with Keith Craft and I was wondering how long it took to get your order.Ive got got 331 stroker kit ordered and its been about a month,Ive called and they said it is waiting to be balanced, that was two weeks ago.I called last Thursday and was told the guy that does the balancing was not there and they didnt know how long it would be.Not that I have a dead line I just was curious how long others have had to wait.Maybe Im over anxious.

Can't remember for sure, but seems like I waited around 3-4 weeks for my stage I heads. You have to remember that they run a fairly small operation with an excellent product. Their stuff isn't assembly-line produced, it's all done by a small handful of pro's.

I bought my 347 from Keith Craft, never had a problem, parts that were incorrect, they sent the correct ones right away! All questions were always answered!

LOL! I know what you mean about the anxious thing. This is a really busy time of the year for them. You'll get it ASAP I'm sure. My buddy deals with him on occasion, and says he's always swamped with work.

BTW, I'm not trying to be nosy or anything, but what is KC charging for an assembled 331?

buddha - FWIW, I had KC price out a 327/331 R302 block completely machined and assembled with top-self internals - ended up around $5,000.

What impressed me the most was how they (Jimmy & others) were very patient with me and took time to listen to what I wanted to do with the car, how I was going to drive it, and explained everything to me.

If I only had an extra $5,000 laying around I would have ordered it! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

They seem like a top-notch shop.

Thanks for the info guys,I kind of figured they were busy, and glad to hear there not an assembly line shop.Im sure the purchase will be worth the wait.

I haven't got around to firing up my Craft 347 yet, but they seemed very patient and thorough with me over the phone. Some other big name engine builders on the other hand didn't respond to well over the phone. They took their time, but one thing I don't want someone to rush is my motor. I'm looking forward to seeing what she's got > http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
