weights fo classics and anyone know where you can get this kit?

Just wondering the weight of the fastbacks from like 65 to 70. rough estimates are fine.

How could you lighten these up?

Also anyone knwo where you can get that kit to make your fastback look like the one of Gone in 60 Seconds

Thanks guys

OK,

Weight varies from bodystyle to bodystyle. With the fastbacks being a "little" heavier.

Here's what I think a typical fastback will weigh if you drive it onto a scale:
64-66 #2850 (these even come in fastback bodystyle?)
67-68 #2950
69-70 #3100

My 70 coupe weighed in at #3500. But alot of that is stereo weight (at least 300lbs). And the rest is from various add-ons.

As for stripping weight. Pretty much the same things apply for these cars as for any others. There's not much you can do cheaply, easily, and with minimal loss of creature conforts/looks.

Almost forgot your other question:

Elenor was a 1-off car. It wasn't a mustang with a widely available kit or aftermarket parts.

Having said that, TCP (Total Control Products) now offers an Elenor kit because of the demand the movie GISS created. I don't know how correct it is, but I do know they arn't chargeing nickles for a kit. Check out their webpage for more info.
