Re: poll: gt or cobra???

Well that all depends on what you already have done to your GT and what your future goals for the car are. Is it going to be straight line only, daily driven, corner carver or a combination of all three. I mean you could run circles around an '03 cobra for 10k. Just all depends on what direction you want to go. I vote for the GT. Everyone expects a cobra to be fast, but when your GT is faster they won't expect that.

Re: poll: gt or cobra???

When I had my GT motor I liked the Spec stage II setup with the aluminum flywheel and lightened pressure plate that I had. The reduction in rotating mass actually gave me more seat of the pants gain than long tube headers. And you could really punish the clutch and not smoke it. Some people have had clutch pedal vibration and throwout bearing issues with the Spec stuff, but I had no problems.

Like those said above, however, the smartest financial decision would be to get the Cobra. You never get money back on mods.

yeah but wouldn't you just be pissin away money just to get another car. plus isnt insurance much more on a cobra? There's nothing wrong with a "sleeper". its your decision just hope you make the right one for your satisfaction.
