solid or hydraulic cam?

Is there any advantage in HP using a solid lifter cam over a hydraulic?
Also, do all 351w have adjustable rocker arms? The heads on my original 82 5.0 engine were non-adjustable. I just wonderend if they made non-adjustable rockers on any of the 351's

Dont use either

Get yourself a roller cam conversion kit, then get yourself a roller cam ;) but thats just me I guess.

Yeah, but the sound of a solid lifter cam does sound sweet though!!

if you like adjusting your valves every so often then solid is the way to go. They turn ALOT higher rpm's than a hydraulic. But if you don't want much maintenenance then go with a hydraulic. If you want high rpm power go solid.
