Re: 2.3 to 5.0 swap
Thats a good question, but you probaly need the a9l ecu, and the harness after that, preferably a maf ecu, you can probaly get one out of a junkyard.
Cuz you'll need all the sensor, and injector plugs ect...but i know a google search would help, or im certain someone here can give more help. good luck |

Do a search on this site for this info. This has been asked at least a dozen times and I remember some folks doing some pretty detailed writeups on it, along with part lists.

Re: 2.3 to 5.0 swap
That harness should work. Do you have the speed density computer as well? Is your motor complete with sensors? fuel pump is the same, but lines are different. Also, there is an issue with one of the rear brake lines and exhaust clearance with full exhaust, if I remember right. A9L, A9P, or A9M computers will work if you get a complete mass air harness or the conversion harness to go with what you have, it doesn't matter what trans you have, it will work, I have an A9P out of a 90 gt AOD in my 93 Cobra, which of course is a 5-speed and it works great. Thats all off the top of my head. Anything else, let me know.:o

You're better off with a donor car so you can get everything you need. Wiring, computer parts, suspension, mounts, etc.
