Winter Nationals

Any one go? I brought the whole family, should have seen their faces when the first nitro pair went off, the stands just shook! Not to mention standing 5 feet from Worshim car when they fired it in the pits, the nitro was so nasty and the car so loud. Too much fun, a beautiful day in So.Cal. too.

Winternationals rule!! I've been flipping between it and the 24 of Daytona. Both are kick @$$!! They tell me that racing is about to start up again, and I can't wait!!!!!

There are few things quite like NHRA in person. I live an easy drive from Indy & Rt 66 so I try to get to those events. I like to be at the 660' mark thats usually where all the pedalling is. We were close enough a few years ago at RT 66 that you could feel the heat coming off Scelzi's car as the motor blew up.
