Nitto Drag Radials: My thoughts...
Well, I've had the new tires for 2 days now, and I can officilly say:
These things absolutely ROCK!!! It was time for the gatorbacks to go to the old tire home and I was shopping for some new tires. Another set of Gatorbacks would set me back 250-350 dollars a piece!! Considering the best 60 foot I could get out of them were 2.2s, it was time for a change. So I went on over to discount tire and ordered 4 Nitto Drag Radials at 140 bucks a pop..... about the same overall cost when you factor in the increased wear on the drag radials. Now that these things are on I can just FEEL the grip from a stop.... Warning: light loose gravel WILL stick to the soft rubber. The grip is like night and day compared to the old gatorbacks.... I can't wait to see what kind of 60 foots I can pull off after the procharger install!!! I got the same tires a couple weeks ago and at first I did not like them too much. The other day it was hot out and the roads were nice and hot and the grip was unreal.
I will have to agree with you now that I have seen what they can do. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
