Good bye for now...
Well as some of you know I joined the army. I leave for basic combat training next wed. the 14. So I'll be gone for 9 weeks for that then I'll drop in. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to surf the web when I get to AIT(training), but I've got another 16 weeks of that. So really the next 6 months I won't be around too much. I don't really know what I'm gonna do...I get on here atleast twice a day. I think I'm gonna have withdraw. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif Should be a lot of fun though. My BCT is in fort knox(not so much fun) then AIT is in fort eustis, which is really close to virginia beach. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif I'll be there all summer. And the best part is I get to work on the AH-64 attack helicopter(apache). Now that is one badass machine! I hope to fly 'em soon. Anyway I just wanted to say good bye. See you guys soon!

Welcome to the army. Don't worry man bct is not all that bad. Some of it is alot of fun like the obstacle courses and stuff like that. Just wait for the night infaltration course that is one of the coolest things u will do in the army. U will have some time to get on the computer while in ait so don't worry. It usally is only monday through friday. They do give u free time. Well good luck and just have fun and don't take drills personaly.

Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna have fun in bct to an extent. I've always liked camping and I love to play paint ball. Which all kinda relate. With out that drill sgt up in your face. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif I know it's going to be hard but nothing that I can't do. I plan to put my WOFT packet in soon. I figure by the time I get everything together, and they process it I'll have been in for a little while. Thanks again!

The Army, eh? If I was in a sarcastic mood I'd say that sounded like fun. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif But everyone's gotta go their own way in life. Good luck man.

Chevy guy..LOL! I hope to run into a few chevy boys on base so I can show 'em how the ford guys do it. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif That's another thing I have to do without the 'stang for a few months...man is that gonna suck! I honestly think the army is going to be a blast. I don't think basic is going to be a piece of cake or anything but after that it should be really fun. And if all goes well I'll retire in 20 years or so. At the tender age of 38+ or - a few years. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif
