There is a video clip of that run in the Media Center here on page 2 of the drag racing section.
That is nuts - I'd be happy to do the 1/8th mile in that time. |
Got home 1 am Tuesday morning. Got the burn but not as bad as last year, I used alittle lotion this time(Heeh). I definitely had the hangover to prove it. I will probably try and make that one every year. It was 85 Monday on the ride home http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif.
Anyone going to Atlanta next month? I gotta see if it is the same weekend as civil wars in Rockingham. I can't miss that or fast fords in the fall. ------------------ Rick My 89lx(updated 2/21/2001) My 97 Cobra |
Oh yeah and I talked to Dustin(cool guy) and he was wearing a mustangworks t-shirt. I gotta get me one.

What a gorgeous weekend it was! I came back to freezing rain & generally crappy weather http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif .
My only disappointment was not meeting more Mustangworks members (big crowds - spent too much time shopping for goodies!) I did meet Jeff Chambers. I must say Jeff, for a race car, your car is too clean! Thanks for the info on those fuel rails & the mount for the regulator. I'll be looking into them very soon! See my post in this forum on why my weekend had a crappy ending.... BTW - if any of you saw the 2000 yellow Saleen convertible in the car show area, that was my buddy's. He drove it all the way from Toronto with us. ------------------ 91 coupe 3.73's,long tubes,2 1/2" exh, ported stock t-body,ProM-77mm cobra intake, edelbrock heads,B303,1.72 rr's 36lb inj's,tremec, & a Paxton NOVI 2000!!! 11.020 @128.95 on BFG Drag Radials (275/60/15) [This message has been edited by SisuStang (edited 03-15-2001).] |
I'll be in Atlanta next month, with my newly painted hood and new clutch.
