quick question about bbk longtubes and c4 fit

I need to know if the BBK 1 3/4" longtubes meant for the 5 speed (part # 1594) will fit along side a c4 tranny ? I know there is a smaller size bell housing you can buy from lakewood I think ? will it fit with some minor grinding to the bellhousing ? or will I have to take these back and order the ones meant for an aod car ?

I have the BBK full lengths on my '79 Capri, and they're the most beautifully-fitting piece on that car. The C4 does have the small converter housing, though. I hope they fit around my AOD when I attempt swapping them into my Notch! http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...d/confused.gif
