1.7 roller rockers

Will the addition of 1.7 roller rockers make much of a difference on a mostly stock motor with full exhaust with long tube headers, pullies and cold air induction. Are they worth the money and would it make a difference in the idle of the car like a more lumpy sound like a cam?

IMHO, you're better off saving your money and getting some gears, either 3.55s or 3.73s. 1.7 rockers will increase your lift on a stock-cammed 5.0L by 0.030", but will not create the lopey idle you're looking for.

I totally agree with Capri306. You will not notice much with the stock heads and intake. The extra lift can give some more top end, but it would be hard to notice by seat of the pants. Wouldn't change the exhaust sound, though.

The $200 you spend on the Cobra rockers could be better spent on 1.6 or 1.7 adjustable rockers which you will probably need if you put performance heads on in the future. Very few really good heads use stock type bolt down rockers.
