Horse Power Guesstimate
Anybody wanna guess what I may make for power? I'm not gonna dyno it for a few more weeks though, so I won't know til then.
My combo: Edelbrock 6032's (1.90/1.60) Performer, Performer 5.0 intake with gasket matched lower, 3/8" Phenolic Spacer, 24lb injectors, Accel FPR, 190lph pump, 302 Rebuilt bottom end with windage tray, High Volume oil pump, hd shaft, F-303 Cam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, 65mm t/b (going to a 70mm in a couple weeks), 73mm C&L Mass Air Meter, K&N Filter and homemade ram air, Short belt (alt, water, p/s, pullies), 1 5/8" Mac Longtubes, 2 1/2" Catalytic pipe, catback. I think that's most of it... I'm told I should make around 320hp at the flywheel.. [This message has been edited by 86GT (edited 03-29-2001).] |
I've got a somewhat similar combo except for:
- GT-40 intake - gasket matched - Pro-M 75MM bullet - Steeda #19 cam -480/480 lift w/1.6's - TFS TW heads - ported way too much for my stock 302 block & 65cc chambers! Anyways with this combo and no idea how it should be tuned, I had the following results on a dynometer 248: 290 RWHP & 312 RWTQ So, with a 15% drivetrain (T5) loss, that's: 341 FWHP & 367 FWTQ Hope this helps, and good luck with your dyno! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif E ------------------ 1991 5.0 LX Coupe - 38,000 miles 13.17 @ 106.14 mph w/ 2.138 60' |
Thanks.. but in all honesty, your setup isn't close to mine.. Different, heads, cam, intake..
Anyone? [This message has been edited by 86GT (edited 03-29-2001).] |
I'm gonna bet 260/300 rwhp/torque. This is just a guess though.
