Correct me if I am wrong.
Fmx did not appear until 1967ish behind a Windsor motor, any Ford car. Although I have rebuilt FX and MX Transmissions in early Galaxie's and Stang's. If I remember correctly early cars had a "Y" trans code was for a "MX" trans. A "X" code for "FX" trans. Confused yet? The older "MX" and "FX" trans look the same as a "FMX" and are cast iron. As far as I can remember the innerds are the same. O-Yeah Give it away. [This message has been edited by mustangII460 (edited 04-19-2001).] |
