Tough choice to make

I asked this in another forum and now I want the general opinion from here.
Should I trade my '82GT with the 351w AND my daily driven '88GT for an '83GT that has been totally worked over. This '83 was done right and runs 12.7@107 out of the box with no fine tuning yet.
My '82 is kind of a project car and the '88 I use as a daily. I plan on getting a winter beater come winter time regardless if I trade or not.
The thing in a nut shell is this: My '82 will still need some money to get it where I want it but I don't see that happening in the near future. Should I get this '83 and drive that in the summer and the beater in the winter? The only thing I would be losing is being able to take long trips(4:10 gears with an automatic and 3500 stall converter!)
There is too much to list on the '83 but it's been done right!
What should I do!!
HELP!!!!

I would say no. The personal satisfaction of getting there myself is the most important to me. It's only done right if you do it yourself. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif Besides, you'll probably find out why the person wants to trade when it's too late.

That's my two cents.

Actually, it was my idea to trade.

I wouldnt trade. Most of the fun in the hobby is the proccess of building the car up.

Theres a feeling of immense satisfaction when people ask you where you got the work done at and you reply "I did it myself". Theres also a level of respect that to be had by building your own car.

For example, I couldnt own a Viper. Whats the fun in owning a car that can dust anything on the streets right out of the box, no work, no wrenches turned, just take the key from the sales man, head out the dealership and procced to pummel. Well at least thats my screwed up opinion.

I've hated myself for everything that I have sold. All that work for someone else to enjoy, never again.

The thing with mustangs.. dime a dozen
Keep them.. Fix up your 82
and keep the 88

tune your 82 to make some good 1/4 mile runs
More satisfaction I think
and 2 is better then 1 4 sure
