Ick. Autobras. Why keep the front of the car clean if noone can see it?

Down here in the South, we have what everyone calls "Lovebugs". These black bugs are totally useless except to hook up and stay connected for about a week, just about this time of year. There are so many that the front of your vehicle becomes black. The body fluids from these bugs will eat your paint, similar to acid. Tis is why we use Autobras. Luckily, these bugs only hang around for about 2 months, this time of year.

i still don't like em. ugly. ricy.
Wouldn't a gt model fit a cobra? The front is the same, no?

My .02....DON'T put a bra on....It scratches the paint when sand gets in between the material and the hood and as the rest of the hood fades, the part under the bra doesn't and you can't wash under it without taking it off/////Run it until you can't stand it anymore then have the hood repainted.....

I considered doing that cbra, but, in 2 months here with the damn bugs, your paint is down to the primer on the front of the hood.

Have you tried the Ford dealer?

I know they have bra's for the Fox body's. Their bra's are one piece, look nice, but a PITA when you have to pop the hood. They even have the Ford Logo on them. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
