3:55or3:73

Trying to decide on gears. I dont't go to the track much but I love to have a little fun spinning wheels every so often. Are 3:73 too high of a gear for normal hwy driving. My car is not a daily driver mostly weekends so mile per gallon is not and issue. I always here people say that 3:73 are for aod I have a five speed should I go with 3:55 will they give me wheel spinning fun that I like at times?

Although I'm still stuck with 2.73's I've been having the same debate in my own head. However I have talked to and riden with several people who have 3.73 gears. As a passenger I didn't notice anything wrong with the 3.73's, no real high reving.

Since you car is not a daily driver (unless you spend a lot of time on the highway), I would recommend you go with 3.73's.

What do you have to lose going with 3.73's?...Performance...

If I do it all over again, I would go with the 3:73's. I have a 5 spd also.
