Woo-hoo, the motor is finally done!
Well I just got the motor back together and it will be going in the car this weekend I hope. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
I built the motor myself with a little supervision and all the clearances check out and it is ready to go. The fact that I built it is even better even if I did not know what I was doing I will be able to do it myself next time. It really was not that hard just time consuming. Anyway I will keep you updated on how it is going and I have 1 hour of dyno time coming as soon as I get it in the car. For those who don't know, the motor is a 347. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
Good luck i hope it screams!

Me too!
I'll let you know. I have heard that the c4 with a loose converter will not give an accurate reading of horsepower when on a chassis dyno. page 246 mm&ff sept 2001 ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
Does anyone know if the dyno will be that far off with a 3400 rpm stall?
