speedo swap

I quickly realized why I installed a 170mph speedo in my '82GT. After a few highway blasts in the '88GT I just bought, I quickly run out of numbers on the speedometer shortly after 3rd gear. How many of you ripped out those silly 85mph speedos by now?

I'm planning on doing the swap soon...

...although it's kinda fun watching the needle bounce off the trip odometer reset button when I'm doing 120+ http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...d/rolleyes.gif

I am doing the swap when I install my white face gauges this summer.

I swapped mine out about a year ago. glad I did it. It was easy to do and took about 30 minutes to get everything tore apart and put back together. If I was to do it again, I would have waited till I got my white face gauges. No sense in doing it twice like I did.
