Damn man...doesn't insurance cover stuff like that? That totally sucks. At least it wasn't your computer...MUCH more expensive.

Nah,no insurance..

Paid $270 for the TV from Best Buy 5yrs ago, never had a prob with it.

Computer was custom built by Cyber Power INC,that cost me $1200 for a 1000mhz AMD,if I was to insure one of them,it would be the puter http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

That sucks! I just got a new 27" flatscreen and was thinking I need a way to protect it. The real nice surge protection outlets are like 100 bucks though at Best Buy. I know they are probably worth it, but it still seems like an awful lot of money, especially for a poor college boy http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif!

I guarantee you won't be thinking they are too expensive when you are looking at a smoldering glass cube.... http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
