Parents want a new car..........looking at Volvo S60 and Acura 3.2TL
 

Well, I've got a few questions:

First off, those are the two they are looking at, anything ya'll would suggest that is simmilar? (mid-size sedan)

Second, they have driven both, and they both (mom and dad) and prefer the Acura. Any opinions?

From my experiences, I have found japanese imports to be generally minimilist and plasticy (see post "integra vs beetle"), but have not had much experience with the larger japanes imports (i know enough to know that 300 series lexi are rebadged toyotas!). Also, as a mustang guy, I have serious quams about imports, I mean, c'mon, the thing has a y pipe! (yes, i know that our explorer has one, but its taking two into one and leaving it that way. this cars exhaust is two, into on, into two!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Anyone?

Hate to say it, but you can't go wrong with a German car. European good....Japanese bad.
