Mines a "D-Link" Firewire adapter card. IEEE1394 complient, transfer rates up to 400Mbps ------------------ 1993 GT/AOD '93 Mustang GT |
A firewire hookup (iee1394) is your best bet IF your camera supports it. If its a fairly recent camera (within the past few years), look for a port labled "dv out" or something like that. If it has that, then I would suggest getting a firewire card, and some sort of software.

I have both a dazzle video capture unit (great for $100), and an "ATI all-in-one wonder pro" graphics card inside the computer that captures video and plays cable tv while you surf.
Both capture analog video (RCA jacks like from a VCR). I will soon be getting the Firewire to match my new digital video camera. Some of the Roadracing video media clips on Mustangworks are mine. ------------------ Darius Rudis Roadracer: Home built t-arm/panhard suspension powered by an S-trimmed motor :-) http://www.dariusrudis.com/images/mustangindex.jpg My Mustang Page |
