WTF!!!!!! Carfax says I have 120,000 miles
 

I got my car carfaxed by spyder and the last title issued (my title) says that my car has 120,000 miles on it. But my car only has 87,7xx on it. WTF is going on here???

On the other hand, mebbe the Carfax report was inaccurate, or somebody entered the wrong info at the time it was sold/purchased?

I think the information was entered incorrectly, because Carfax says that MY title says I bought it with 120,00 miles, but the odometer only had 84,xxx.

The Carfax database contains a total of 4 vehicle history records on this

Maybe the person who had it before you drove 67k miles since they had it registered. I've seen new cars (2000) models with upwards of 30k miles on them at my dealership, some people has to drive cross state alot. Or maybe it was just incorrectly as you stated. Another possibility is that the odometer was rolled back....Did carfax enter it as 120k miles after you bought it with you as the registered owner or for the last person?
Well as long as the car is in good shape that shouldn't really matter.

the CarFax entered it as 120,000 mile after I bought it. I think that when my dad when to get the new title the people entered the milage wrong
