IMPORTANT!!!!! --intake--

I am installing a stock upper intake manifold on my '90 GT. I was wondering where does the black hose that comes off of the back of the intake go? It is about 3/4" wide and turns at a right angle near the end of it.

I believe it goes to the brake booster (Single large black hose not connected to the tree underneath the intake right, but indted connected to the plenum?)

Where is the brake booster?

there are 5 vaccum connections on your upper intake. 1-vacum to your fuel canister. 2-vaccum to your fuel pressure regulator. 3-pcv vaccum. 4-brake boost vaccum. 5-vaccum to a sensor for the computer to read. Usually the 2 largest vaccum lines are for the PCV valve and the Brake Boost, I hope this helps you (GOOD LUCK).

Hey a Haynes repair manual only costs $10 with relatively clear pics. The booster is located behind the brake reservoir on the firewall.

no it doesn`t go to the brake booster it goes to the vacume tree which is mounted to the firewall right beside the windsheild wiper motor.there should be some little lines and some big lines hooked to it including the line your talking about there should be 5 in all if i remember right.
