Group Purchases

Dan,
I was just wondering what policy/policies are in place for Group Purchases? I have arranged quite a few in the past and I am continuing to organize them. I don't do this to make a profit. I do it so everyone can benefit from the power of purchasing in large numbers. I would think that most users of the site would appreciate them.

Thanks,
Matt McLaughlin

Our policy is that posts concerning group purchases sponsored by private individuals are acceptable. However, purchases being advertised by companies themselves are not. My information is that you represent a business, and therefore, our moderators removed your advertisements.

Dan,
I don't know who decided I was representing a company. But, not one person asked. I did post the information for contacting the individual offering the products. I am not a business. I am an Information Systems consultant that happens to be a mustang enthusiast. I have organized Group Purchases (on my own time, for free) on things such as TFS heads and intakes, Vortech and ATI superchargers, Brembo 2000 Cobra R brake kits, Performance Automatic transmissions, Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulators, Pro-5.0 shifters, MAC exhaust products, Pro-M, Granatelli, and C&L mass air sensors, and about any Ford motorsport product. How do we correct this problem?

Thanks,
Matt McLaughlin
