I have a 97 cobra and I run nitto's. I run 1.80 60 foot times and drive it everyday. I do a good burnout on each pass and have put about 12,000 miles in them. They still pull 1.80's all day long and I love them!!!

Muscle mustang and Fast Fords did a compro
on Drag radials in the JAN 2000 edition.
they prefered the BFG drag radials over
the Nittos. But that's their opinion.

I run the Nittos and also pull consistent
mid 1.7 60fts. (275/40/17)

I love these tires and they wear good also.

The BFGs are more for like a 69 Camaro ???

The Nittos to me are more refined.

I run 16lbs of air at the track and 25 on the street. I do a 3 sec burnout at the track and preload the clutch.

Goodluck!!!!!

just put bfg drag radials on my car, AWESOME!!! i was getting 1.86 60" times on normal street tires and although i haven't been able to get to the track, i will bet on getting in the 1.6's on the drag radials. now for the down side, you will probably not get more than 5000-6000 miles out of these. i was going to run the nitto's which will easily get 15,000 miles but they didn't have a 315/35-17, so i had to get the bfg's. got to play with a viper on the street a couple of days ago and the tires launched me like a rocket off the line leaving the viper behind.
