xpipe or pro chamber
I was trying to decide which will make the most diffrence in power & sound tone on my 99 gt, A mac pro-chamber or a off road x pipe. The off road hpipe is just to loud with my 2 chamber flows. thanx

An X-pipe will flow well and will quiet your exhaust notes some. It will actually make your exhaust higher pitched, like an Indy car.
I have heard good things about the Pro-Chamber, but have never heard one. ------------------ '94 Cobra 308ci, ported GT-40 heads, Crane 2031 cam .513"/.529" lift 276°/282° duration, 70mm TB, Custom 80mm MAF, JMS chip, Vortech S-trim 8#, MSD, TREX fuel pump, Accel coil, 3.55's, FMS 1 5/8 headers, BBK Offroad H-pipe, and 2-chamber flows. 1994 Mustang Cobra Check out the pics of my Motor Buildup! |
I have the Bassini X with the low restriction cats. I aggree with Rebel'79, they are higher pitched than an H-pipe. I think they have a kinda "hi-tech V-8" urgency to them when you let it scream past 5000 rpms.
