Cobra Headers
Ahh.... Once again I'm at that point where I not sure what I want to do next. My car and modifications are as listed below. In addition I have a MAF and Throttle body on the way. I would now like to open up the exhulst. I have read good things about both the BBK long tube headers/H-pipe combination and about the Steeda shorty header/x-pipe combo. Anybody have any experience with either of these, or something else. Any feedback would be appriated.

I have the FMS shorties and Bas-X /w cats. When MM&FF did their build-up on their '97 Cobra they found the FMS's to be worth ~6-8rwhp on the dyno with the X-pipe. They are real good headers but, they are not cheap. The install was costly. I don't have any factual info on the BBK long tubes or Sean
Hyland headers. I've heard good stuff...but that's hear-say. Hey thanks for the response. The Sean Hyland headers look interesting. There's a big difference between the price of the shorties, the mediums, and the long tubes. I'll have to research it more, but considering the price of the parts + installation considering performance, the medium tubes seem to be the best buy.
Any other suggestions? Thanks. |
