aftermarket head and intake Q

Is Ford Motorsport the only makers of aftermarket heads and intake for our 4.6L stangs? Are there any companies that have plans to start building them? We need some market competition to get those prices down!

Right now, FRPP is about your only choice for intake/heads. A few places are offering head porting services, or custom intakes, but they are not any cheaper.

From my personal research, Virt is right on the money. The only "bolt-on" (if you can call them that) intake/heads come from FRPP. There is hope though, as I hear more after-market companies are buying into our modular engines. It should drive the prices down over time.....
Boy, I REALLY want that roots blower/intake combo!!

In a past 5.0 mag they had mentioned that Ford has released all info on the modular design 4.6. Ie. Blue prints, tolerances, clearances ect. So now aftermarket companies do not necessarilly have to purchase a complete motor or car to fabricate bolt-ons.
Doesn't Sean Hyland Motor Sports make heads and intakes for the 4.6??

I believe SHM sells the ported stockers. Threshie Motor Sports is also working on Heads and Intake.(I think) If your looking for heads, I believe Jason@speedlineracing(?) is selling ported stockers for ~$900.

Hope this helps....
