Factory Upgrade for a '99
 

My boss has a '99 cobra and just got the factory upgrades installed. He says it makes a ton of difference (after 3,000 rpm).
My questions are:
What are the upgrades and...
Does anyone know if these upgrades are available for my '97 cobra??? Would they make a noticeable difference.

These probably weren't upgrades, they were probably what had been affectionately called "THE FIX". The 99 Cobras were not meeting their advertised horse power, so these were meant to bring it back to spec. No they are not available for anything other than 99's.

They hone extrude the intake, replace the cat-back, and recalibrate the computer. Most of the gains come from the computer. All of these things would work on you '97 Cobra, but would cost some $$.

A good machine/speed shop could do it for ya. SHM makes chips for Cobras too.
