WOOHOO! Friday's the day!

After much waiting and lots o' cash, the following mods will be added to Hammer's Stang on Friday:

1. Zex 75 shot Nitrous System
2. Bassani X-Pipe with Cats
3. Subframe Connectors
4. Strut Tower Brace

Last week we installed the Eibach Sport springs and some BBK Caster/Camber plates.... Boy, that lower stance makes her look mean!
C'mere ricey, ricey, ricey...

Nice. Its always fun when the next round of mods go on.

BTW- How is that MAF working for you? I have an x-pipe and headers on the way, but after that, I'm thinking MAF.

I'm driving them crazy at work talking about my mods... http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/wink.gif

The MAF looks good in the engine compartment, and I did notice the engine breathing better at high RPMs when I put it on....

It may not give you many horses when you're near stock, but your engine will thank you. Also later mods in induction and on the intake will benefit as well...

Here's a link to my MAF (This may not be the model you need though)... http://www.pro-flow.com/87mm.htm

Did the '98s not come with a factory strut tower brace?

P.S.- I'll take any money you have left over after those mods are put on.

Hammer 04-27-2000 06:17 PM

Nope,
98s didn't come with a factory brace, I think the only mod motor GT that did was the 96. (I could be wrong)

As far as the money, my wife laid claim to that long ago... http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/wink.gif

Does anyone have a '97 GT that can confirm that? I know the '97 Cobras did. This is just one of those obscure facts that is fun to know.

I have a '97 Mustang and they do come with the factory strut tower brace.
