Too much mass air?

I was going to get a C+L 80 MM mass air meter
but they wont work with my MAC fenderwell kit, and nobody I've met has anything good to say about them.So I need a mass air with a flange on it like the stock has. I saw one from Pro-M but its a 87MM. Thats too big for my car right?

I use the Pro-M 87mm with my Roush Cold Air kit. It works just fine for my 98 GT...

(Make sure its calibrated correctly for your computer and injectors. Your best bet is to give Pro-M a call. Read more info here: ) http://www.pro-flow.com/87mm.htm

Warning: I don't know how this will/ or will not fit with your MAC fenderwell kit.
Hope this helps...
