Impressed as all hell!
 

I finally got a Cobra! I bought my 97 about 3 weeks ago, and got 2 runs on it, both in the low 14's. The car is stock with 18,000 miles and the only mod being a K&N airfilter + the silencer removed. I was at Milan today, and knocked off a tire burning 14.7 (w/ passenger), a 13.888, 13.649, 13.642, and was eliminated by another tire burner @ 14.229. I coulndt believe it! This car pulled a best 60' of 2.081 on the 13.642@102.00! I am so impressed with this car that I wanted to share my success with all of my Mustang bretheren! Nice! Gotta love those Cobras. It sounds like you got a strong runner too. If you're running 13.6s with 2.0 60 ft times on stock tires, imagine what you can do with just some gears and better tires.

Huh? Beef, please tell me you are kidding...

Even the Road and Track and Car and Driver managed to get '96 Cobras into the 13s. 13.6 @ 102 is very believable for a stock '97, especially after a little breaking in. There are many that have even gone better.

So grow up and learn what you are talking about before you start trashing people, or just go away.
