I just got a 98 Cobra, and wondering what are some crazy mods for this car?

Crazy? Depends on what you mean by crazy...

Most common, best results are:

1. Gears! 4.30s if you are "crazy". 4.10s if you're just sort of loco. A good shopper can find them for $170ish. Go with FRPP. Others are usually fine, but for the extra couple of bucks, I've never heard any complaints about the FRPPs. Installation varies greatly, but will take at least a couple hours.

2. Subframes. Not exactly crazy. People always disagree with me on this one. But for the cost and the better launch, handling, and feel, they are cheap. Might as well get them out of the way early.

3. Depends on what you're doing. I went hardcore suspension at this point. If you are more of a 1/4 mile or stop light warrior, go for power. Blowers are wonderful, but be careful with blowers. They work incredibly well power wise, but have a tendancy to burn certain pistons if you aren't careful. Rebuild is expensive, so be careful. Laughing gas is basically the same story. More basic built ons include exhaulst, intake, pulleys, ect.
