Ford Recall: 94'-00' Mustangs

Looks like Ford will recall these stangs for a problem (failure) with the emergency brake. This affects manual transmission cars only. Stay tuned.

This works out perfect. I've been having problems with my e-brake for a couple of months now.

Mine felt like it broke when I yanked it up kinda hard, twice so far. Its like I pulled up too far, past the teeth. It goes back down and works just fine as long as I don't yank it to far.

Once I forgot to put my car in gear when I parked in my drive way. About 10 minutes later I see it rolling down the driveway, across the street, and into my neighbors yard. Now I know why.

It was kind of funny though. My cats and exhaulst burnt the grass and left a huge 'H' in there yard.

I never really liked those neighbors.

Expect a notice from Ford later this month. An article appeared in the newspaper yesterday. They advise that, when parked, all 1994-2000 manual transmission cars leave their car in gear with the emergency brake up until Ford fixes the problem. Thanks! Quality is Job #1.

This is the 2nd recall for my car. The last time it was the hood, anyone remember that one? I want them to recall my engine or tranny, I need new ones! Not Ford's fault for those. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/wink.gif

My parking brake works fine, for now, but the handle is operating kinda funny. This will be the third recall for my 96. There was the hood latch and the computer reprogram that were the other two. Of course, there's also the intake but mine hasn't split yet so they won't do anything about it till it goes bad.
