Flowmasters good or bad?

i have a 99 GT stick shift.
if i replace the stock mufflers with some flowmasters will it help any, and will it soulnd any better, or will it be a waste of money??????

If you're replacing just the mufflers it will not really net you any real horsepower although it will give you a more aggresive sound. Your 99 exhaust isn't as restrictive from the factory as previous years. If you really want to open up your exhaust you'll want to look into an H or X pipe for better flow. As far as being a waste of money, it never hurts to give your ride a good deep growl so if you can get a good deal go for it.

I have a friend who has a 99 GT aniversary Ed, its a 5sp also. He has 3 chamber flows and it sounds awesome. Sounds alot more aggressive, it just screams perfromance and power. Trust be, you wont regret the decision. I hope to put some on my 2000 GT real soon.

I love mine. I have 2 chambers dumped. It sounds pretty mean. Don't waist your money with a cat back just get the muffs replaced.
