Where to get NGK V-groove

I would like to replace the plugs in my snake with NGKs. I have been unable to find them at any of the local parts stores. They tell me they are more commonly used in imports. Does anyone know of a place that I might be able to mail order them? Also any comments you have about these or other plugs are welcome! http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif

I just got some from the motorcycle shop in town. I put them on my gsx-r. Your local Honda,Suzuki,Yamaha shop should have some. They are $6.95 a piece here for them. Hope this helps.

$6.95 Ouch! I only paid $1.20 or so...

Thanks guys, I'll check out the Summit website.

Hey BLACK99GT, how do you like your MAC cold air? I have one for my Cobra. It is the one that goes from the MAF to the fender, not all the way to the TB. Did you have to move your air pump forward on your appllication?
By the way, that was an awsome burnout! Is your car a stick or auto?

FYI, science proves voltage flows at a higher rate as resistance decreases.
More surface area means less resistance.
There has been lots of testing done on these "v-groove" plugs, that's why the pros's don't run 'em.

Beside's, OEM are tough to beat.

Good point, which is why I'll be using Autolight 564's next change.

Cutting a groove into the center electrode actually INCREASES the surface area.

Yes, and voltage flows by the path of least resistance, or distance. The spark won't jump up and strecth to hit the groove one might have "hacked" into a plug..

If you do this, then don't forget to pick up "Perk" while you're at it. You know, the "Medicine" for your car, one tablet in the fuel tank equals 25HP?
Just yankin' 'yer chain :-)

Ok, ok, you win. Maybe it is another marketing scheme... or maybe the grove does help shape the spark into a more efficient shape as they claim. Who knows? http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...d/rolleyes.gif

What plug to you prefer anyway?

For King Snake. My Stang is a stick and to see the rest of the video download it then close it out and download it again. For some reason the first DL only gives you 6 seconds and the second DL shows you the whole 15 seconds. Thanks for the compliment.

For Mustang92
I was mistaken on the NGK plug. I bought and used NGK R's not the V-groove. The NGK R's is factory replacement for my bike. Yes you can find the as cheap as $4.75 on the web but it is easier for me to drive a few miles and get them.
And as for my plug of choice. Good ol' motorcrap(craft) plugs work good for me.
